No amount of rain, sleet, or snow has ever stopped a true Jordan fanatic from wearing Retros in crappy weather, but Jordan Brand made sure to deliver some beefed up options fit for the occasion. Previous “Winterized” iterations of Air Jordans saw the base model get several enhancements in the form of hiking-boot D-ring eyelets and rugged traction patterns (ie. the Air Jordan 9 Boot), but others – like last year’s Air Jordan 12 Cheap Fake Winterized – saw the silhouette relatively untouched, with the improvements rather undetectable to the naked eye. The same principle is being used for this upcoming Air Jordan 4 Winter, which sees the ’89 classic get re-dressed in waterproof exteriors and plush interior linings. Simply put, the shoes act like a cozy boot, but looks the part of the Retro.
The Air Jordan 6 Wholesale China “Travis Scott” is officially scheduled to release on October 12th, 2019. This collaboration with Houston-based rap/style dynamo Travis Scott features the classic Air Jordan 6 silhouette rebuilt with military-style materials in dark green olive, bright infrared accents, a glow-in-the-dark outsole, and an exterior stow pocket located at the outer ankle of each shoe. The shoes were first seen on Travis Scott’s feet during his Superbowl halftime shoe in 2019, and since then, continued leaks and detailed photos made the excruciating wait even more unbearable. On Saturday, October 12th, the Travis Scott Jordan 6 will release in four sizes – adult ($250), grade school ($160), pre-school ($80), and toddler ($60). All four versions will release at select retailers across the globe, and due to the high demand of the shoes, they will likely be released via raffles only. Our Sneaker News unboxing video is also available for viewing below. While we have nearly two months until the actual release, you can check the official images of the Air Jordan 4 Winter below.
After debuting on the soles of All-Star center Anthony Davis last year, the Wholesale Nike Air Force Max looks to further along its range this season with the introduction of the Air Force Max II.
Midsoles stay colorless as well as while the enlarged air bubble takes on a deep ruby visage. Insoles, which are by and large the most involved in terms of presentation, bear the focal motifs with collage prints embodying a romantic story. Grab a detailed look at the pair right here and find it — as well as a few more of the same group — rolling out to select retailers and Nike.com on October 5th.
A contemporary design that platforms off of Charles Barkley’s Nike footwear of the early 1990s, this sequel features many elements that you would typically find in a Nike Basketball signature shoe, although this high-performance package doesn’t quite bear any athlete’s name. The cushioning system is that of a full-length Air Max unit, while an external counter provides stability at the heel and lockdown at two key zones at the midfoot, with an actual strap at the forefoot offering customizable fit. The entire upper makes use of a lightweight mesh above an interior body, while a hardened film appears at the big toe to maintain stability. Finally, the “Engineered To The Exact Specifications Of Championship Athletes” text appears on the medial panel where the strap harnesses in. Three new colorways will kickoff this model’s launch, and while these indeed are not a signature shoe for the Lakers’ new superstar, you will certainly see him rocking these along with other NBA players this coming season.
Once inspired by distinctly different genres of art and then taking on the musicality of heavy metal, hip-hop, and more, the Cheap Air Max 270 React has seen quite a few inspirations with its latest capsule tapping into the thematics of novels. Earth tones are found aplenty with palettes strong in deep forrest greens as well as cooler navys, the latter seeing the most use across the mudguard all the way to the heel. Matching though departing hits of indigo denim outfit much of the lace units in a fashion that transcends standard synthetics for a bit of textural diversity. Much of the upper, however, stays its standard fabrication: toe boxes as well as the swoosh panelling dress up in Autumnal brown while the aforementioned duo further color block across a backdrop of flat whites.Grab a closer look at each colorway here below, and expect them to roll out on Nike.com and at other retailers in the coming weeks.
Blending the notable layered upper of the Air Max Plus with the Swoosh’s modern Vapormax cushioning unit, the Cheap Nike Vapormax Plus lineup is set to grow by one with the welcoming of this brand new black and noble red colorway. The low-profile silhouette’s synthetic upper and full-length Air unit are doused in black while its layered cage and mid-foot panel are presented in noble red for a slight juxtaposition in its hues.
With winter fast approaching, Nike is getting quite the productive head start on colorways, outfitting the D/MS/X Vapormax Wholesale China in a two-tone mix of icy blues and deep blacks. Connected to no theme specifically, the pair is more so a proof of concept, showing off a distinct arrangement yet to be seen on the inventive, chaotic, and largely imposing alternative model. Uppers, in their vast mix of material and panelling, show off each distinction with full dissimilarity: hits of mesh both at the toe and rear lie in no connection to those adjacent while overlaid smooth leathers distinguish themselves overtly in their swathe of light blues; tongues, though still a cool-leaning shade, are tinted just slightly darker from the rest, with accents by way of the swoosh and air bubble tread breaking out from their backdrops in a sultry purple. Grab a detailed look at the pair right here and find it rolling out to select retailers as well as Nike.com soon. Additional 3M reflective hits arrive via the Swoosh logos and throat for added visibility during your evening activity. Although an abundance of vibrant color schemes, patterns, and gradients have adorned much of the models that have released year, Nike looks to bring things back down to Earth by styling this rendition with a more modest and versatile look. Looking to pick up a pair? These are now available at select Nike retailers for $190 USD.
Nike nods to their most well-known slogan every season with a special slate of “Just Do It” releases, and one of the members of their upcoming fall assemblage is the new Fake Air Max 270 React. Much like the other styles in the pack, this popular hybrid silhouette opts to keep things somewhat simple, ramping up the branding and embellishments just enough to cause a stir but not enough to create a full-out ruckus.
The GR wonder has surfaced once again in this brand new metallic silver and lilac colorway for women, further expanding the library of color options that are currently available on the market. Deviating from its many wild and vibrant color-blocking styles in the past, the classic runner opts to steer down a more subdued direction sporting various hues of grey dispersed throughout its upper with subtle accents of lilac falling upon its lacestays, heel tabs, and Swoosh logos. No official release date has been announced as of yet, but expect these to hit select Nike retailers in the coming weeks for $160.
After making a strong resurgence in 2018, things have slowed down a bit for the Cheap Nike Air Max 98.The mesh-and-synthetic upper uses a sleek wolf grey tone as its base, then applies crimson and orange for its accents. A duo of colored Swooshes and a “Just Do It” hit are present on the lateral side, while the medial side features two “Air” his and a slightly darker grey Swoosh. Down below, a similarly-colored React forefoot with signature plugs and Air Max 270 heel unit complete the look and provide high-tech comfort. They’ll release at the retailers listed below later this season, so be sure to check out our Sneaker Release Dates page for info on a specific date of arrival as it’s available, and enjoy a set of official images here in the meantime.
Nike’s sleek Lunarestoa 2 SE silhouette has just arrived in a “Cool Grey” colorway for fall and winter. Since he first worked with Nike Sportswear on an Air Max BW PE back in 2016, grime icon Skepta has become one of the Swoosh Brand’s most consistent musical artist partners, and now he’s set to take a detour from his signature Air Maxes with his re-worked Nike Shox TL. Dubbed the “Bloody Chrome” by Skep himself, the shoes are a macrocosm for the man himself: inherently serious, with great attention to detail and just enough flair. The upper features a flat black base accented by jet black tones, while pops of chromed-out detailing arrive on the midfoot Swoosh and the tongue, which has been flipped to read “SK Shox.” Down below is where these Nike Shox earn the “Bloody” part of their nom de guerre, thanks to a full-foot polyurethane piston cushioning system that’s dressed completely in a bold “University Red” hue. The BBK general’s newest Nike shoes are set to hit select retailers on September 12th for $200 USD, so check out a store list below to see where you’ll be able to snag a pair come release day.
With its bulky build and copious cushioning system, the recently-revived Nike Shox TL is nothing short of a statement-making sneaker, and now it’s surfaced in what may be its most wild iteration yet: one that combines reptilian and equestrian detailing. Each piece of these bold Nike shoes presents its own potent palette. The midfoot kicks things off with a sporty navy blue mesh that’s overlaid with high-gloss navy overlays and equipped with a chromed-out Swoosh. Then, the toebox and takes on a dark brown pony hair, while the heel boasts textured python-skin leather, making for the rare sneaker that presents more than one animal print. Iridescent silver synthetics also appear on the heel to match the tongue. Not to be outdone, the full-foot Shox setup down below equips a bright silver, sandwiched in between periwinkle and silver Pebax plates. Pops of high-vis reflective material littered throughout the lacing system complete the look. Nike Shox this unique are not the easiest shoe to pull off, but if you’re feeling adventurous, you’ll be able to snag ’em later this fall on Nike.com. Check out a full set of official images below, and keep it locked for info on an exact date of arrival as well.
It’s been nearly a year since the 25th Anniversary milestone of the Air Jordan came to close, but that doesn’t mean we’ve moved beyond it. The Air Jordan Legacy that has lasted twenty-six years will continue to anchor the brand that is now represented by contemporary stars like Dwyane Wade, Carmelo Anthony, and Chris Paul – all hand-selected by Michael Jordan himself. The Air Jordan 25th Anniversary Collection surfaced last year as part of a traveling showcase that was featured at Nike locations world-wide; here we have another look at the entire collection from Air Jordan 1 to Air Jordan XXV (2010) laid out in an impressive spread of sneakers. Just five of the Air Jordans pictured above actually released (the II, III, IV, IX, XI) – which other all-white Air Jordans would you like to see release? Check out the extra shots of this classic pictorial below and let us know your thoughts. via sina.
July 10th marked the launch of SoleFly Sneaker Boutique located in Miami, FL, and Michael Jordan himself attended the opening, providing autographs and pictures for a lucky few. Out for public view was a nice display of the Air Jordan 25th Anniversary Collection – II, III, IV, IX, XI – with Michael Jordan’s John Hancock in silver marker. Jordan’s autograph is probably the ultimate piece of NBA memorabilia so to see a whole bunch sitting pretty on one table is quite a treat. Check out the gallery of images to see the entire display and let us know which Air Jordan 25th Anniversary shoe has been your favorite thus far.
Michael Jordan’s love of the spotlight during his playing career was well-known, and outside of his hometown United Center, nowhere provided a brighter one than marquee Madison Square Garden matchups against the New York Knickerbockers. Now, Jordan Brand is paying homage to MJ’s longtime adversary with the new Air Jordan 3 “Knicks.” The shoe features a recognizable white, blue, and orange color scheme that’s perfectly in line with the Knicks’ uniforms, which is then accented with signature elephant print on the heel, eyestays, and toebox. Although the outwardly visible parts of these Air Jordans are undeniably striking, the most noticeable detail arrives on the inner tongues, both of which boast a “4/8/88” tag. This nods to the date of MJ’s “Virus Game,” during which he gave the Knicks 40 points under the bright lights of MSG, all while wrestling with a troublesome stomach bug. A thoughtful piece of history that’s sure to delight Bulls and Knicks fans alike — albeit for vastly different reasons — you can expect these AJ3s to hit the retailers listed below on September 14th for $190 USD.
New York Yankees pitcher CC Sabathia is playing out the final campaign of his HOF career, and Jordan Brand has ensured that the lefty legend’s on-mound footwear has stood out with several special PEs over the course of the season, two of which are these unique Air Jordan 3 cleats. The first pair’s inspiration is obvious: it’s all about the Yankees, with a navy blue/grey upper, signature elephant print detailing, chrome accents, and Sabathia’s #52 embroidered on the left tongue. The second pair reaches much farther back, drawing from Sabathia’s early days/team colors at Vallejo High School in California. Inspired by varsity jackets, it features a red faux-wool upper with cream accents, a chenelle #9 patch on the heel, and “Sabathia” in chenelle script on the left tongue. However, the most meaningful embellishment appears on the medial midfoot, which presents a list of coaches and adult figures that played an important role in the pitcher’s life. The navy pair was sported during a September 12th away game against the Detroit Tigers, while the red pair was donned during an August 24th game against the LA Dodgers. Sabathia also received an Air Jordan 11 PE cleat earlier this season after reaching the 3,000 strikeout milestone, and we’ll likely spot him in even more special footwear should the Yankees make a deep postseason run this fall. Of course, Sabathia might face some friendly on-field footwear competition from up-and-down Yankees outfielder Clint Frazier — a man who just might be the MLB’s custom footwear king — but as a long-time Jordan Brand athlete, he’s always looking crisp when he toes the rubber. Check out both pairs below, and for more special Jordan Brand shoes, take a look at a football-inspired Air Jordan 12 created for the Jumpman’s NFL athletes as well.
Although “Have A Nike Day” may be the foremost lifestyle push for the Swoosh Brand in 2019, “Just Do It” isn’t finished yet — a new Air Max 95 featuring the timeless slogan has surfaced. Although the phrase is familiar, the stylings are all different: a color combo of white, black, and grey is used, while “JUST” is printed in bold block letters on the lateral quarter and “DO IT” adorns the medial quarter in similar fashion. Also known as the Mt. Fuji Air Max 95, Japanese detailing appears on the tongue badge, translucent outsole, and high-vis reflective lace loops to pay homage to Japan’s most prominent peak — a mountain that’s the seventh tallest on the planet. The look is then completed by hike-ready speckled detailing on the grey midsole. These 95s are reported to be a Japan-only drop, but get a first look at all the special stylings present on these interesting Maxes below, and stay tuned for further release information as it’s available. Update: The shoes have already released in Japan, though stay tuned as word arises on a stateside drop.
Out of the many motifs in the Beaverton inventory, overbranding seems to be the most memorable as their classic logos and recognizable slogans have filled the uppers of their icons in once heavy frequency. Going back to those sensory overloading basics, Nike has donned the Air Max Plus with all-over prints of “Just Do It,” a sign off in the form of basic moral support. Forefoots are left neutral so as to allow its main focal point to shine, opting for plain white shades across its subtle toe cap and synthetic constructions. Sole units, though aggressive in their structure, follow suit with only the air bubble feature slight color. Swooshes, which are here outlined rather than appliquéd, compliment the heel wraps iridescent finish adjacent to its stark white typography. Grab a detailed look at the forthcoming Air Max Plus below and expect them to arrive at select retailers and Nike.com in the coming weeks.
