Air Jordan 4 UK

Winter’s snow, slush, and sleet can be hell for sneakerheads who love their Air Jordans, as the inclement climate is undoubtedly rough on any sneaker, let alone a classic like the Air Jordan 4. However, Jordan Brand is presenting a solution to the problem, as they’ve given the AJ4 a brand-new “Winter” makeover. Dressed in a bold blue color scheme with black and red accents, these 4s certainly call to mind memories of Eminem‘s ultra-exclusive Air Jordan 4 Encore, but differentiate themselves substantially with their materials. The underlays and throat swap out plastic netting for a pockmarked synthetic material, while the tongue features a rubberized construction and the liner offers a wooly, shaggy fabric for extra warmth. Black wings and black midsole detailing finalizes the look. This new design will release on December 4th with a slightly hiked retail price of $200 USD to allot for its premium construction, so enjoy a first look right here in the meantime.
It’s been a square 30 years since the Air Jordan 4 first debuted back in 1989 , with MJ clearly stamping the shoe into the world’s collective memory. The latest entrant to the 30th Anniversary festivities is this premium women’s-only “Mushroom” makeup. With a mix of tan shades and supple suede, the look here is all luxurious lifestyle, geared towards casual wear but elegant enough for formal situations as well. The upper’s accents are provided by black trim and detailing on the signature wings, the laces, and the heel tab, as well as under the midfoot/throat netting. A bold black leather tongue patch then presents an iridescent Jumpman for a compelling but not distracting deviation from the earthy palette, mirroring the stylings on the heel. These lux lifestyle sneakers for the ladies will release on September 19th for $190 USD, so check out a store list below to see where you can snag a pair.

Air Jordan 11 UK

Lifestyle icon and Jordan Brand mainstay, the Air Jordan 11 returns in its golf-enhanced tooling with accents luxe across a palette largely neutral. The patent leather mudguards are left appropriately untouched though doused in an almost camouflaged white tone; its adjacent panelling are touched up with smooth leathers throughout with laces, tongues, lining, and eye stays following in the colorless presentation. Branded tabs across the midfoot are adorned with an elegant gold finish, matching the gum bottoms of the outsole that somehow shroud the treads specifically for the salary man’s pastime. Grab a detailed look at the pair right here and find it rolling out to select retailers and Nike.com on August 8th for a retail of $220 USD.
The beloved Air Jordan 11 “Bred” is set to release for the fifth time this December, and a detail that’s sure to delight Jumpman enthusiasts both young and old has now been revealed: it’ll be accompanied by its original shoebox. With a release that’s as renowned as the “Bred” — a shoe that holds lofty status as one of the most popular and influential Air Jordans of all time — it’s crucial to make sure every inch of the accouterments are done correctly, and Jordan Brand has seemingly pulled out all the stops to make sure these AJ11s get their due. From the crisp black patent leather and ballistic mesh to the poignant pops of red on the collar, throat, and outsole plus the still-speedy carbon fiber plate, this fifth go-around hits the nail right on the head. It’s even completed by “23” hits on the heel instead of the “45” embellishment that had occasionally been rumored early in its design process. And of course, a little ’90s flair is added by the tan, red, and black box, a proper resting place for the noble shoes that MJ captured his first post-retirement ring in. Feast your eyes on these beauties once again below, and stay tuned for more info as the Air Jordan 11 Bred‘s release date of December 14th date draws closer.

Yeezy 500 UK

Kanye West‘s adidas Yeezy line has been dominating the collaborative footwear market in 2019 with a veritable plethora of compelling releases, and the latest makeup to join their ranks is the elegant Yeezy 500 “Bone White.” Although the 500 has been mostly quiet this year after serving as a major player in 2018’s Yeezy lineup, it still boasts a rabid fanbase and offers a look that differs significantly from the rest of the line. Here, that look is presented in light tones, thanks to a signature layered that offers both airy white mesh and earthy light grey suede. The white midsole discards the Boost cushioning found on other models in favor of classic adiPRENE, while the outsole takes on an ever-so-slight cream tint for a tonal contrast. The “Bone White” is set to arrive at retailers in full family sizes — an interesting first for the Yeezy 500 — on August 24th. Men’s sizes are priced at $200 USD, kids at $130 USD, and infants at an even $100 USD, so check out a store list below to see where you can secure your pair(s) come release day. Notes: Several retailers release their Yeezy stock at random times on launch day. Retailers that have provided a specific time will have that time listed. Other boutiques typically release via an in-store or online raffle. Please contact your local shop for further information.

Air Jordan 9 UK

First times are sweet but anything new to the Jordan Brand line-up can often be much sweeter. Making its way back to center stage — after a brief hiatus since it’s last colorway — the Air Jordan 9 is back once more though with candy red patent dressing up its bottom half. Mimicking an almost dipped effect, the pair shines under the right light with its inclusion from the toe towards the rear top line separating the neutral whites that comprise the majority of the presentation. Leathers adjacent, with its various indents and segmented perforations add doubling intrigue by way of visuals with the sole unit staying blank aside from its blacked out Jumpman iconography. Grab an early look at the pair right here and be sure to keep an eye out for official images as well as its arrival at Nike.com and select retailers soon.
Michael Jordan never took the court in a pair of Air Jordan 9s as a member of the Chicago Bulls, but the AJ9 is a classic piece of Jordan Brand history nonetheless. Now, the shoe that debuted during his first retirement is set to release in a “Gym Red” colorway that’s not difficult to visualize on the United Center hardwood. These new Air Jordans utilize a crisp white leather base, then proceed to accent it with a healthy dose of red patent leather on the upper’s elongated overlays plus black accents on the eyestays, tongue, and heel tab. Branded detailing is provided by a white #23/rubberized Jordan globe logo on the heel and a text-equipped tongue tag. Down below, a high-gloss red midsole and white outsole with black Jumpman logos finalizes the look. Surprisingly enough, this is the first time that red patent has been used on the Air Jordan 9, and everyone will be able to partake in the fun, as these “Gym Reds” will release in a full family size run, ranging from men’s to toddlers. Check out a collection of images below, and look for a retail debut on October 5th.

Nike Air Pegasus UK

Fashion house Comme des Garçons have teamed up with Nike once again, dropping a Nike Air Pegasus 83 out of nowhere. In the label’s usual color scheme for Nike collabs, the vintage Nike runner features an all-black upper with contrasting “CDG” branding on the heel for a clean and stylish look. So far we’ve only seen the collab show up at Dover Street Market for an apparent in-store only release, so stay tuned because we’ll let you know if they show up any where else.

Nike Zoom UK

Looking to pay respects to their roots, Nike will be dropping this new colorway of the Nike Zoom Pegasus 35 Turbo paying homage to Blue Ribbon Sports. Blue Ribbon Sports (BRS) was Nike’s original name when it was founded by Bill Bowerman and Phil Knight on January 25, 1964. Nike wasn’t “Nike” until May 30, 1971.

This Nike Zoom Pegasus 35 Turbo comes dressed in a White upper with  Red Swoosh branding and a Blue gradient motif wrapping the heel. Take a close look at the heel, tongue and insoles and you will find BRS branding in all of those areas. Pretty clean, right?

The Nike Zoom Pegasus 35 Turbo paying homage to Blue Ribbon Sports has not official release date yet but look for it to drop in the coming weeks at select retailers and Nike.com for the retail price of $180.
Fans of the Nike Zoom Pegasus Turbo silhouette will be happy to hear that Nike just dropped another colorway of the elite Nike runner. Dubbed the Nike Zoom Pegasus Turbo Lime Blast, let’s see what this colorway is all about.

The Nike Zoom Pegasus Turbo Lime Blast comes dressed in a Dark Green and Black upper offset by the Lime Blast accents on areas such as the tongue branding and Swoosh logos. Other features on the shoe include the gradient midsole going from Black to White and of course the Nike’s signature ZoomX foam cushioning that makes this runner of the best models that Nike has to offer. Out now, look for the Nike Zoom Pegasus Turbo Lime Blast at select retailers on Nike.com for the retail price of $180.

Air Max 2009 UK

The plane plunged into the ocean en route from Rio de Janeiro to Paris after entering an aerodynamic stall and falling from an altitude of 11580 metres (38,000 feet) during a storm, its engines running but its wings losing lift.

“The direct cause of the accident is the crew’s loss of control of the aircraft’s trajectory,” the judges determined.

Other crews, faced with similar situations, had successfully maintained control of their aircraft, their ruling said.

The magistrates overruled the prosecutors investigating the case, who had recommended that Air France stand trial over the crash in July. The magistrates followed the prosecutors’ recommendation to drop the charges against Airbus.

In their 2012 report, French accident investigators found the crew of AF447 mishandled the loss of speed readings from sensors blocked with ice and pushed the jet into a stall by holding the nose too high.

Air Max Zero UK

A bit quiet within the Air Max family since the Air Max 97 and Air Max 1 have seemed to take over lately, the Nike Air Max Zero is making a comeback this back-to-school season with a few new looks. The slightly more premium ‘SE’ (Special Edition) version of the shoe is arriving now in four new colorways, each featuring a slightly heathered knit-mesh base with seamless synthetic overlays. The color combinations include a White/Armory Blue version that is reminiscent of the original colorway, Dark Grey/Black, Light Bone/Black, and a “Bred”-like colorway in black and Tough Red. All four new Air Max Zero SE colorways are arriving now at select sneaker shops like Sneaker Politics and should be on Nike.com soon.
Last March, Nike invited eight young athletes called the “Imaginairs” to their World Headquarters in Beaverton, Oregon. They each got to design a crazy colorway of the Air Max Zero, working closely with Nike designers to fine-tune their concepts into realized concepts. It was the first time the Air Max Zero, which debuted in March of 2015, was redesigned for youths. Leading up to Air Max Day 2018, Nike will launch each of these Air Max Zero colorways in limited quantity; see all release dates below.

Nike React UK

Proceeding with their newfound “THE10TH” collection that debuted earlier this summer, the Swoosh is continuing right along with their conceptual footwear with the third colorway of the Nike React Sertu. Paying homage to the time Bill Bowerman served in the Army’s 10th Mountain Division during World War II – as noted via small “The10th” tags across the shoes – the lifestyle model utilizes military-inspired detailing to bring together its striking upper construction. A black woven nylon panel is intricately fused with with suede and leather overlays that feature stand-out accents of beige and volt displayed towards the rear. Furthering the brand’s penchant for mixing and matching, the low-cut model is finished off with a popular React cushioning system increasing their line of casual runners. These will be available at select Nike retailers on September 13th for $150 USD
Nike’s React Element 55 is an ultra-popular lifestyle silhouette that’s available in a veritable plethora of makeups, and now it’s appeared in a fresh style that looks back to a shoe that kicked off the React Element craze: the black/white React Element 87. As the black/white 87 was one of the first two React Element silhouettes to release, it’s an important touchpoint in the short-yet-storied lineage of the line. Here, it’s nodded to with a semi-translucent black upper that’s accented with stark black detailing and a bold white Swoosh on the lateral side that dips down into the midsole. The lower half then offers a signature cored-out white React foam midsole equipped with black plugs. A clever interpolation of shape and style, these fresh-yet-familiar Nike shoes are available now at select overseas stockists, so you can expect a stateside Nike.com and Foot Locker release in the coming weeks for $130 USD.
